Idyllic setting

At our back, the highest active volcano in Europe, covered by woods, marked by red hot lava and white with snow in winter. At our feet, the coast of eastern Sicily descending towards the blue of the Ionian Sea, which looks at the black cliffs of Catania on our right and the escarpment of Taormina on our left. This is Carruba of Riposto, the territory where Donna Carmela is located.
